BRIDGEWAYS' BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Paul Dennis, Board President at Bridgeways, has been a member of the Board since 2001. Paul also serves on Bridgeways' Facilities Committee. He is currently President of an industrial management company, P.A.L. Enterprises, LLC, and a member of the Everett Rotary. Previous experience consists of 35 years in the petroleum industry, as well as serving on numerous Petroleum based company boards and President of Seafair. Mr. Dennis was also owner of PetroSorb, an environmental oil-absorbing cleanup material marketed internationally.

Bill Kelly, Secretary-Treasurer of Bridgeways board, and Chairman of the Finance Committee, has been a member since 2002. Bill is currently the controller of Nelson Petroleum, and has held controller and finance positions in the petroleum and construction business for over 25 years. He has an MBA in financial management. Bill is a long-time resident of Snohomish County, has served on volunteer homeowner boards, and has been a leader in Boy Scouts of America.

William DeGroodt, Chairman of the Manufacturing Committee, has been a member of the Board since 2002. He is currently employed as President of Kurve Technology, Inc. Mr. DeGroodt's background includes numerous national executive positions with medical device companies. He has a Master's Degree in Industrial Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Kathie Marr, Board Member and HR Committee Chair at Bridgeways, has been a member of the Board since 2002. Currently an HR Consultant, Kathie's background includes General Manager of an HR Consulting firm, as well as HR management positions with Verizon, Citicorp, INTELSAT and MCI. She holds two professional certifications as well as a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree. She has lived in Snohomish County since 1987 and currently lives in Everett with her husband and two children.

Sheldon Kleine, Chairman of the Clinical Committee, has been a member of the Board since 2005. He is a licensed psychologist and has been a practicing clinical psychologist for more than 25 years. Sheldon began working in mental health and social services in 1972 when he completed his Master’s Degree. In addition, he has worked as a volunteer leader for many community task forces and projects.

Terry Walker has been a Board member since 2007.  He is currently self-employed as a personal financial advisor having retired after 32 years with an Insurance and Investment company where he was primarily involved with product development and sales management.  Terry has been involved with several community boards and currently serves as President of the Greater Everett Probus Club.  He has held many professional designations and hold a Bachelor's degree in Education.

Bobbie Pennington has been a Board member since 2007. She has spent her career in the healthcare field.  She has managed Dental and Medical Practices as well as managing most departments for two leaders in healthcare insurance companies.  She has a background in telephony and records management.  She sat on the Development Committee for Community Health Clinic of Snohomish County Board of Directors as well as organizing their annual Santa Breakfast which benefited under privileged families in Snohomish County.  She served on the Everett School District Foundation as a Board Member; volunteered for Camp Fire for 8 years while raising her two daughters.  She served as Council President for the Everett School District PTS as well as multiple positions within her local schools for 18 years. She has volunteered for many other charities including, United Way, World Concern, Housing Hope, NW Harvest, Special Olympics, Aids Walk, March of Dimes and the Avon 3 Day Walk.  She served two terms on the Park and Recreation Board for the City of Mill Creek and became a Community Emergency Response Team Member for Mill Creek.  During her years of volunteering she has received multiple awards for her community service.

Patti McKinnell Davis has been a Board member since September 2007.   She is currently the Director of Public Affairs at the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (WBBA) and has been in that position since late 2003.  Prior to joining WBBA, she worked in various capacities in external and internal communications, public relations, community relations and advocacy at Providence Everett Medical Center, The Casey Family Program, United Way of King County, and Children’s Home Society of Washington.  Patti received her bachelor’s degree in the Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington and her master’s degree in Policy Studies from the University of Washington Bothell. Patti is an avid reader, a novice kayaker and enjoys spending time with her husband Peter and their children and grandchildren here and in Australia.
