Volunteer and Internship Opportunities Currently, we are seeking community-oriented individuals for the following: Masters Level Clinical Internship/Practicum Bridgeways’ Mental Health internship program is specifically designed to provide lasting clinical experience and education for interns by closely working with licensed experienced clinicians in respective supervised settings. Bridgeways is committed to providing professional training on HIPAA, confidentiality, safety and other topics. The clinical interns receive weekly supervision by an approved supervisor and participate in group supervision/care consultations and staff/team meetings.
Internship is the culminating activity in the training of most students with counseling majors. It consists of actual counseling experiences with clients and the integration and application of the counselor's competencies. Internship provides the counselor-in-training the opportunity to utilize counseling skills, tools, and knowledge in counseling situations under supervision.
