In October 2007, Kenneth Beecher accepted the position of Director of Finance & Administration at Bridgeways. Ken provides significant experience in non-profit finance, accounting, auditing, and management skills. In October 2007, Randy Wood moved from his position of Director of Finance & Administration at Bridgeways to Director of Manufacturing. He brings substantial experience in Finance, Information Systems and Light Manufacturing. He has acquired expertise in Operations Management and financial oversight during his nearly twenty years of service in the computer systems and avionics industries. In October 2007, Bridgeways held its first-ever fundraising event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mukilteo. The event was sponsored by Cascade Bank, the Everett Clinic, Everett Ear, Nose, and Throat, Genoa Healthcare, and Providence Everett Medical Center. Randy Revelle, former King County Commissioner and current Senior Vice President for Policy and Public Affairs with the Washington State Hospital Association, was keynote speaker. Mike Sursely and Matthew Goode, both Bridgeways clients, also spoke on how the agency has made a difference in their lives. A heartfelt 'thank you' goes out to the sponsors and to the over 60 generous attendees. The event raised over $10 thousand dollars.
In June 2007, Bridgeways was awarded a generous grant from United Way to support the PACT Program for the years 2007-2010. This is the first time that Bridgeways has been awarded a grant from United Way. April 2007, Bridgeways is partnering with Compass Health and Sunrise Services. Together they have been designated as the Snohomish county consortium to provide PACT mental health services. April 2007, Bridgeways received funding for an “Emergency Rental Assistance Program” from the Office of Housing, Homelessness and Community Development division of Snohomish County Human Services. Bridgeways appreciates Snohomish County’s support of their continuous efforts to provided housing options to some of our county's most needy recipients. April 2007, Bridgeways was presented with the “Evergreen Award” for 2007 by the Executive Alliance at their annual Washington State Non-profit Conference. Accepting the award for Bridgeways was Nathalie Gauteron, Clinical Director. Attending the ceremony with Nathalie was Paul Dennis, Board Member, William DeGroodt, Board Member, Bill Kelly, Board Memeber, and Al Hayden, Director of Manufacturing. March 2007, Bridgeways would like to thank the Boeing Company for their generous gift of printing our first ever Annual Report for the year 2006. February 2007, Bridgeways sincerely thanks Glaser Foundation for its generous support.This funding is to support the emergency shelter (Unit 9) services, which provide temporary housing, coupled with a high level of case management services to clients hoping to move into a community setting. In January 2007, Bridgeways was selected as The Everett Clinic’s 2007 “Operation Outreach” agency. Bridgeways will be the recipient of various clinic-wide fund raising drives as well as other supported events.
